In the next 50 years, where will technology be educationally, business wise and personally?

Hello World!!!

Wondering where technology will be in the next 50 years? Well at the rate in which technology is evolving, my opinion is that technology will be at a point that it basically rules the world. Educational wise, technology has already started to make its mark. We have moved from the basic paper and pen to computers. And now teachers are able to teach via satellite. In the next 50 years…technology in the educational world, will be at the point where physical school buildings, book and etc; may not even be in existence. Business professionals will also be impacted by technology in 50 years. More companies will be using social networks to keep up with each other and to get their companies information out to the world. In the next 50 years, email may not even existence. Our personal lives have already been changed greatly by technology. But in 50 years, I think it is even possible that we may have SMART homes. Yes, like in the movie Smart house, where the house talked, cleaned, and even was had the ability to cook. With evolving technology, we may actually be the modern day Jetsons. When shopping online, it's possibly that our orders will be sent to us in tubes (like the tubes at the banks). Technology is rapidly changing, not only yearly but monthly, weekly, daily and even hourly at times. So in 50 years the world that we currently know as home sweet home, will be totally new to us.

Time Management!

Reflections of Day Two Of Training

Hello World!!!!!

Well today's my second day in training and it was great. First, I learned what I am expected to do as an Intern once I'm placed in the school. I will be there to not only to help the teacher, but the school as a whole. To be successful, I will have to do Teacher Observations and Visits. I learned exactly what to do in each situation. I learned that when I'm doing observations that I should make an appointment. A very important thing that I should always do is take notes. After my initial observation and visits, it is helpful do a quick follow-up. It’s also important that I build a relationship with do teachers during my teacher visits. After lunch, I enjoyed the movie maker, even though my group had a couple of problems getting the video to save and upload. I think movie maker will be a great success in the schools. After day one and two of training…..I just know that day three is going to blow my mind. I'm getting ready to learn all I can, so that I can "UNDER PROMISE....OVER DELIVER!!!!!!!"

Reflections of My First Day of Training

Hello World!!!!

Today was my first day of training and I really enjoyed it. The information that I was taught today was very helpful. I also recieved helpful tools to help me when I'm in the classroom. I really enjoyed learning to blog, because that is something that I knew of, but never thought about actually doing. I think I might be a blogging addict soon. I also found learning how to do a podcast interesting.  The audacity software was like WOW.....I enjoyed learning how to actually use it. And I can see myself helping/teaching others how to use it. I actually cannot wait to start sharing what I've learned today and what I will be learning the rest of the week. The instructors was awesome. Today's class/training session was great!!!!! I look forward to whats in store for tomorrow...... I'm really going to enjoy my time in training and as a DOTUSA TeachUp! Intern.
