Hello World!!!!
Today was the first day of my mini-training/workshop. It actually went better than I expected. The topics were animoto for education and blogging in education. The teachers seemed to be interested and pleased with both topics. We discussed the many ways that animoto and blogging can be used in education. I can't wait until tomorrow for the next group.

On the Job!!!
Hello World!!!!
Today has been great thus far. It has been a little slow due to preparation for the state test (retesting). I was actually told that it might be this way until the end of the month. Be luckily, I’m still able to squeeze in visits and meetings with new teachers. A few minutes ago, I was able to go and assist a teacher with problems and concerns that she was having. I plan to squeeze in as many as possible today, between test preparations. I cannot wait until the retesting is over, so that I can start working on bigger projects!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Job Is Great!!!!

I've become more enthused about assisting the teachers here at my school each day. Yesterday, September 1st, I met with a teacher that teach Trig., Algebra II and Physics. She was so excited when I told her about all the wonderful things, she could do with the Promethean board. She has been using notepad and paint from her desktop to teach on her Promethean board. When I introduced ActivInspire/Studio to her she actually "lit up". I assisted her in setting up an account on Promethen Planet and introduced her to the free online courses. I'm soooooo glad that I'm making a difference in the school, one teacher at a time. My job is great....not only am I helping others...I'm helping myself also!!!!

My First Day On The Job!!!!
Hello World!!!!
Well today is my first day working at my assigned school. I am really enjoying it. So far all the teachers that I have met with are very excited about having me here to assist them with bring technology into their classrooms. I already have a slight idea of what this weeks project is going to be. I am really looking forward to having a successful year!!!!

In the next 50 years, where will technology be educationally, business wise and personally?
Hello World!!!
Wondering where technology will be in the next 50 years? Well at the rate in which technology is evolving, my opinion is that technology will be at a point that it basically rules the world. Educational wise, technology has already started to make its mark. We have moved from the basic paper and pen to computers. And now teachers are able to teach via satellite. In the next 50 years…technology in the educational world, will be at the point where physical school buildings, book and etc; may not even be in existence. Business professionals will also be impacted by technology in 50 years. More companies will be using social networks to keep up with each other and to get their companies information out to the world. In the next 50 years, email may not even existence. Our personal lives have already been changed greatly by technology. But in 50 years, I think it is even possible that we may have SMART homes. Yes, like in the movie Smart house, where the house talked, cleaned, and even was had the ability to cook. With evolving technology, we may actually be the modern day Jetsons. When shopping online, it's possibly that our orders will be sent to us in tubes (like the tubes at the banks). Technology is rapidly changing, not only yearly but monthly, weekly, daily and even hourly at times. So in 50 years the world that we currently know as home sweet home, will be totally new to us.
